An expanding and developing Sydney Construction Firm are looking for a Junior Estimator to help keep up with demand for their new residential developments. They have previously and will continue to focus on high quality apartments, townhouses and duplexes - so you will need previous experience working with a new home builder or quality residential construction company. Plenty of room to grow for the right people and excellent chance to join a professional outfit still in it’s infancy.
Responsibilities & Experience
- Ideally the last 2 years in your current position
- Liaise with construction and site managers and supervisors
- Purchase orders and variations
- Creating BOQ’s and cost plans
- Using Cubit Software for quantity measurement
- Prepare sub-contractor ITT packages and coordinate and discuss sub-contractor requirements
- Hold relevant industry qualifications
- Prepare tender documents for submission
