Operating across Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia, John Holland is a fully integrated infrastructure, building and rail group. The primary purpose of this role is to manage all aspects of the Head Contract including progress claims and variations as well as ongoing cost forecasting and monthly reporting.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Develop and execute project commercial strategy with the consultation of other leadership team members;
- Ensuring that all contract agreements are appropriately established in accordance with relevant guidelines;
- Providing the project leadership team with monthly reports on project progress and claims;
- Ensuring consistent application of John Holland systems across project commercial functions;
- Advising and guiding the project teams on best-practice commercial and contracts management practices;
- Analyse and proactively respond to commercial opportunities and risks.
Key Skills / Qualifications:
- Demonstrated competency in effectively negotiating with clients, subcontractors and other stakeholders;
- Experience working within a systematic contracting environment;
- Exceptional people management & leadership capabilities;
- Proven ability to communicate effectively to drive positive outcomes with managers, staff and key stakeholders;
- Tertiary qualifications in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management;
- Sound technical knowledge and application;
