The Company
Privately owned fast growing fit out company that operates in a variety of sectors. These include commercial, government, retail, education, hospitality, new construction, interiors and refurbishment throughout Sydney.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Preparation and submission of tenders
- Evaluate / review tender and estimating process for cost effectiveness
- Tender negotiations
- Coordinate tender handover to project team
- Prepare budgets based on tender submission
- Assess and price contract variation orders
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants
Qualifications and Experience Required
- Formal qualifications in Construction / Engineering
- Minimum 1 year post graduate experience working on fit-out projects
- Some experience in the submission of successful tenders for workplace fit-out projects.
- Good understanding of the full construction life-cycle,
- Ability to communicate and negotiate effectively with sub-contractors and a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to produce estimates and cost plans, knowledge in the use and management of industry-based contracts and sub-contracts.
- Can work closely with PM’s, CA’s, Design Team and Bid Manager.
- Experience with Build soft is desirable
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Project
