Our client is a boutique client side project and construction management consultancy who provide independent and professional services for property and infrastructure projects. They are looking for an enthusiastic Project Manager to join their innovative and client focussed team to work on a prestigious $1.5bn infrastructure project.

Candidates will ideally come from a consultancy background.

Offering and end to end consulting, PM and advisory service to their clients, they have a diverse project portfolio spanning commercial buildings, industrial, retail, education, aged care, hotels and infrastructure.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Coordinate, chair and prepare minutes for regular meetings
  • Support the coordination and interface between relevant Works Packages
  • Ensure all requirements (operational, authority etc) are addressed in design documents
  • Assist with client approvals for budgets, variations, updated expenditure forecasts, cost reports etc
  • Reviewing and managing progress and other claims
  • Manage & coordinate the relevant interfaces
  • A positive and "can do" attitude and extremely high client serving standards are essential

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Project Management or similar
  • Minimum 3 -5+ years’ experience in the successful delivery of projects from start to finish
  • Strong project financial reporting skills
  • Advanced computer literacy (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Project, Adobe pdf or equiv, GIS, Navisworks 360)
  • Able to prepare reports, scopes of work, memos etc
  • Critical and lateral thinking and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills
