Our client is a boutique client side project and construction management consultancy who provide independent and professional services for property and infrastructure projects. They are looking for an enthusiastic Senior Construction & Compliance Manager to join their innovative and client focussed team to work on a large & prestigious infrastructure project.
As the Senior Construction & Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring all contractors meet their obligations with regards to implementing & maintaining a quality system in accordance with their respective contracts and in conjunction with the Independent Certifier.
You will have experience in Light Rail or Utilities / Roads projects and the candidate can come from the client or head contractor side.
Offering and end to end consulting, PM and advisory service to their clients, they have a diverse project portfolio spanning commercial buildings, industrial, retail, education, aged care, hotels and infrastructure.
Sample Duties:
- Ensuring contactors’ quality system records are prepared, maintained and updated as necessary in accordance with respective contracts.
- Clearly identify the key handover, completion, operational readiness and integration tasks, activities and responsibilities
- Ensure contractors meet their obligations with regard to providing all records, drawings, survey, registers, plans, approvals, manuals, specifications, spares, training and the like related to achieving completion, handover and operational readiness and integration.
- Build and sustain excellent professional relationships with project stakeholders.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Relevant tertiary qualification
- 5 to 15 plus years of end to end project management on infrastrure projects
- Strong network would be an advantage
- Leadership skills
- Strategic thinker who is able to see the bigger picture
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Previous client side project management experience
