I have an immediate requirement for a Permanent experienced Contracts Administrator within Commercial Construction to work for a very reputable 2nd tier contractor who have just commenced some exciting projects. My client has a back catalogue of projects covering all sectors within commercial construction. They continue to grow through their reputation to deliver on time and on budget.

Role Description:

• Proven track record of delivering a procurement plan ideally within a commercial construction environment.
• Comfortable on ERP Systems and be able to drive the procurement strategy with overall project business objectives
• Price negotiation and supplier relationships
• Relevant tertiary qualification and a proven ability in contracting drafting ideally on diverse commercial projects
• Ability to understand scopes of work, and update where necessary for trades
• Issue tender documents and tender recommendation
• The role would ideally suit an experienced quantity surveyor who has worked within a commercial construction environment.

Qualifications and Skills:

• 3-4 years + experience in contracts administration for top tier/2nd tier contractor who has worked across diverse commercial construction projects
• Degree qualification (Or equivalent experience) within a construction discipline, ideally from a Quantity Surveying background, RICS would be idea.
• Experience in managing subcontracts and dispute resolutions
