Today this includes the supply and installation of steel house frames and roofing, lightweight cladding, guttering and downpipes, garage doors and energy solutions.
Our Steel Framing division based in Ormeau are looking for three highly organised, customer focused individuals to join the team as a Detailer/ Draftsperson - Estimator.
Duties for the role:
- Read and interpret plans accurately
- Liaise concisely and clearly with clients, other employees and management
- Able to work from complex instructions and procedures
- Be responsible for assuring the quality of your own and perform basic quality checks on the work of others
- Provide day to day support to the Stoddart Steel House Frame SSHF team in a timely and friendly manner.
- Foster positive working relationships with internal stakeholders and consistently achieve agreed internal client satisfaction targets.
Ideal applicant qualities:
- Experience using AutoCAD, Vertex or similar detailing software
- Residential construction background (on site or in office) in either steel or timber
- An understanding of Australian construction processes
Those with previous experience in detailing walls, flooring and roofing (timber or steel) in residential construction will have a distinct advantage.
