Completing Submissions and Tenders from pre tender through to handover
Ensuring timely delivery of finalised tenders
Managing expression of interests
Estimating from first principles for multi-million $ civil construction projects
Requisitioning of quotes from subcontractors
Comparing and analysing quotes from subcontractors
Engage in regular communications with subcontractors and build upon good working relationships
Compiling letter of offer, tender schedules, program and other items as required
Identify cost risks and opportunities with various tender submissions
Finalising estimation for tender preparations
Reviewing the tendering and estimating process and coming up with cost effective solutions
The requirements for this Civil Estimator role include:
• Proven experience providing tenders for civil infrastructure especially civil utility and water pipeline projects minimum 5 years
• 7-10 years' experience estimating on civil construction projects
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Proven ability to meet strict deadlines with strong analytical skills
• Maintaining and building strong relationships
