The Company
A pivotal role within this major Sydney home builder is offering long term job security where you will be trusted to run your own team within the Warranty and Maintenance Department. The Role
Reporting to the Construction Manager, he is a pillar of the team, with a wealth of industry experience behind him, he is a great guide and mentor.
The new role will involve:
- Working across a team of maintenance trades on new homes being built
- Top level of service and care when dealing with distressed clients
- Dealing with Fair Trading Tribunal claims and hearings, Home Owners Warranty claims and defects
- Generate monthly reports/minutes
- Preparation of Inspection Requests, practical completion, colour selection and trade lists
- Liaise with maintenance contractors to ensure that client contact and visits are planned and scheduled, following up, tracking jobs and registering completion.
- Liaising with the legal department and other departments
What you need
You will ideally have the following criteria:
- Extensive experience handling warranty, maintenance and WH&S in residential housing
- A caring/sympathetic nature when dealing with clients
- Firm when dealing with Suppliers and Trades.
- Well organised
- Able to prioritise and handle a large work load is critical
- Prior experience in a similar role
- Trade certificate in Carpentry, Cert IV in Building favoured
