Your new company
An established electrical contractor who have a large pipeline of projects and can offer an attractive package. This organisation is one of the fastest growing electrical contractors within Victoria. They have over 15 years experience in the Australian electrical industry and they have been growing in size each financial year. With plans to go nationwide and ongoing success/growth it has created a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Electrical Estimator to join their Melbourne based office, in the Eastern Suburbs.
Your new role
Reporting to the Director you will be responsible for the tendering of medium to large scale projects ranging from $20K - $5M. You will mainly specialise in the office fit out space space, along with other commercial work. As such most of work will be quoting in this area. The office has a very supportive management structure and the owner is very hands on with business development, so you will be well equipped to succeed.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have at least 5 years worth of electrical estimating experience and a solid understanding of the electrical contracting industry, as well as commercial and retail project knowledge. You will also have strong computer skills and applicants with specific estimating software experience such as Espro will have an advantage.
As a senior member of staff you will have a high level of commercial awareness and exceptional verbal and written communications skills. We are looking for industry professionals with strong industry connection and a passion for winning new business and the client side/BD side of the role.
