Company

An international company who specialises in all aspects of the Mechanical areas are currently looking for a Business Development Manager to join their team.

This position involves targeting a range of clients from large builders and contractors to various developers and private owners. The role will include a large amount of new business development as well as managing exiting relationships and accounts.

The role requires someone who is extremely self-motivated and ambitious as there will be no micro management. An immediate start is available.

Responsibilities

• Lead business development initiatives for specified business unit
• Target potential customers across all Mechanical aspects
• Maintain awareness across sector  
• Mapping of target businesses in specified regions
• Book and conduct meetings with potential customers
• Develop interest via cold calling, seminars & mail shots
• Interact and liaise with internal engineering & technical staff

 
To Be Successful You Will Have

• Prior experience working in a business development role
• A strong technical understanding of the Construction industry
• A proven successful track record in a sales environment
• The ability to work autonomously
• A self-starting, motivated and ambitious attitude
• The ability to develop and maintain strong business relationships with your clients
• Fantastic people and communication skills
