About the role:
We have an opportunity for an experienced and qualified Supervisor to provide onsite support to our Project Manager in relation to all aspects of our new installation projects. This main function of this role is to supervise and provide front line support to our installation teams.
 
Key accountabilities for this role include:
  • Overseeing technicians under their care to ensure they are completing the work according to the work order
  • Carry out audits and report on sites and equipment
  • Effective and timely communication to all key stakeholders regarding technical information, resolution of issues and achievement of project milestones
  • Assist in scheduling, materials ordering and logistics of site works and act as conduit between sales handover and installation crews
  • Advise relevant parties when site works completed and finalise all required documentation         
  • Drive and promote safe behaviour in accordance will all internal processes & procedures
 
What we are looking for:
The successful candidate will be a motivated and enthusiastic individual with strong project management and communication skills. You will also possess:
  • Previous experience (5+ years) in a similar role based in the Lift, Electrical, HVAC or Heavy Maintenance Industries
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of the Lift Code – AS1735 / EN81
  • A current driver's license
  • Outstanding communication skills and customer service etiquette
  • Strong leadership skills with proven experience in leading by example and ability to adjust work and material requirements to meet schedules and customer demands
  • Excellent organisation skills, with the ability to work under pressure
  • A proven record in managing multiple projects to tight and demanding deadlines
  • A strong commitment to safety, quality, environment and customer relationships
A degree, diploma or trade qualification in either building, engineering, electrical or mechanical disciplines is also desirable.
