You are a passionate Trainer and Assessor or wanting to become one by seeking the chance to make a difference in your professional life whilst improving the lives of others! You have qualifications and experience as a High-Risk Trainer and Assessor or willing to get qualified. You have a desire to teach and develop others to become as exceptional as you are. You are patient, build trust easy with others, have the initiative to solve problems and seek information to understand students' needs & expectations.
YOUR SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Multiple High-Risk qualifications - C6, RB, RI, SB, SI, DG, LF WP & All Cranes,
- Experience in delivering classroom based and workplace training or a desire to do so
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Intermediate computer skills in Word Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with resource development
- Cert IV Training and Assessment *
- First Aid (with experience) *
- Safe work at Heights (with experience) *
- Mining induction and experience *
- Confined space entry with related experience *
- Certificate III Rigging / Scaffolding or higher qualifications *
- Other Civil Cert III or higher (eg: Cert III Plant Op's, Cert IV CivilSupervision)*
* Having multiple qualifications in the above areas will be advantageous but not essential.
YOUR ROLE
You will be…
- Delivering and assessing qualifications and units of competency, meeting training Standard requirements within aligned training packages
- Demonstrated Student management skills
- Building and maintaining relationships with students and clients
- Reading and interpreting training packages and validating resources for course delivery
- Creating session and training plans supporting students in all modes of training delivery
- Positively contributing to assessment validation and quality processes
- Providing a positive learning environment with support and understanding for Students
