About the role
About the role
We have a NEW opportunity for a Quality & HS Officer to join our growing organisation on a 6 month fixed term contract. This role will be based jointly in our Macquarie Park and Pemulwuy offices reporting to our Quality Regulatory Compliance/HSE Manager, Australia who is based in Perth. There could be some interstate travel required for this role.
Key Responsibilities
- AS/NZS 9001:2015 certifications under the supervision of the Quality Regulatory Compliance/HSE Manager
- Assist with Internal Audits under the supervision of the lead auditor
- Compliance with all legislative requirements regarding health and safety
- Writing new key safety policies, procedures, SWMS or SOP's and advise Staff, Supervisors and Managers on policy interpretation and application
Skills & Experience
- Tertiary qualification or accredited course such as Cert IV Work Health & Safety
- Sound knowledge of relevant Australian and International standards ISO9001 and AS/NZ4801
- Exceptional customer service focus, with advanced communication and interpersonal skills
- Intermediate to Advanced level of Microsoft Excel
- Internal Auditors qualification
- Experience in AS/NZS ISO 14001:2015 is desirable
