With the planned growth in our business and the strong pipeline of major infrastructure projects in QLD we are seeking experienced estimators to join our team based in our regional head office in Bowen Hills. As part of the QLD Engineering wider business you will take a leadership role in a small estimating team to produce winning proposals.
While remaining hands on you will ensure your team estimate and document project quantities and costs, identify project risks and opportunities and ensure they are appropriately accounted for in the estimate.
Ideally you will have tertiary qualifications in Engineering or Quantity Surveying and experience estimating a range of civil infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, tunnels or rail projects with solid knowledge of the key packages. Your familiarity with the local market will ensure that subcontractor and supplier prices are competitive and reliable. You will be a highly effective team leader and have held full commercial and operational responsibility in delivering high quality bids.
