About the business and the role
Earth-Tech Civils specialises in all forms of Landscaping, Drainage and Earthworks, ranging from detailed excavations, site cuts and pool excavations to residential/commercial landscaping, sewer, drainage and everything in between.
We are looking for self motivated experienced operators, ideally with experience in the civil/landscaping industry or similar and proficient at operating excavator, bobcat and tandem tip truck operations to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be experienced and confident in all aspects of excavations and bobcat operations, including the use of auger drills, rock breakers, smudge bars etc. The position would suit someone looking to further their career and grow within the company.
The work is never boring and varies from day to day. The majority of the work is located in Geelong and the surrounding areas with some work in and around Melbourne and Ballarat. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day greasing, pre-start checks and general care of the trucks and machinery, must present well, be pleasant to all clients while representing the company and take pride in their work. The work can involve manual labour at times i.e. shovelling, raking and sweeping, so a certain level of physical fitness is required. The right candidate may have the opportunity to become a crew leader/foreman and continually advance their career within our company.
Experience is required but attitude is key, the right candidate must have a pro-active, can-do, problem solving attitude and above all must be a team player. This is not a 9-5 union job so please do not apply if that's what you are looking for.

Skills and experience
The following licences are required:
- OHS induction card
- Current driver's licence and own transport
- Excavator Licence
- Bobcat Licence
- HC Licence
The following skills and/or experience are required:
- all aspects of excavations
- Final trim bobcat
- Auger drilling
- Smudge bar
- HC licensed truck driver with tipper experience.
If you have the following skills and/or experience, it would be an advantage:
- Civil construction
- Landscaping
- Concreting
- Drainage
- Asphalting
