Based in a CBD location this large Tier 2 are looking for an experienced Contract Administrator

Your new company
Hays Construction are representing an exciting company who are currently in the market for a senior contract administrator to join their team. Our client are a large Tier 2 company who have made some smart moves in the market over the past few years and now find themselves in the enviable position of having a great pipeline of interesting projects. They have many projects currently underway across various sites in Sydney, from the Sutherland Shire, to Pagewood, Macquarie Park and North Sydney. With a very savvy management team and an absolute focus on very specific markets this company are primed to continue to grow and develop over the next few years.


Your new role
As a senior contracts administrator you will:

• Be based in the head office in a CBD location
• Support the project manager on a daily basis
• Ensuring all commercial facets of the project run smoothly according to budget and programme
• Initially involved in the procurement stage
• You will drive all contractual activities on the project
• Including procurement and scopes of work to contract management and variation management
• Cost reporting and client claims will also be a fundamental part of the role

What you'll need to succeed
This is a serious role for an experienced Contract Administrator professional. The ideal candidate will have:

• A lot of experience working as a contracts administrator in the local market
• Fantastic knowledge of the Sydney construction landscape
• You will have an absolute commitment to accurate and efficient reporting processes
• A clear understanding how a project makes money
• You are an expert in your trade and you take pride in your projects hitting commercial targets
