Leveraging from the success and reputation of our 70+ offices in China, Jinding Australia has established a formidable operation within the Melbourne marketplace. Due to the significant pipeline of residential construction & settlements scheduled for mid 2018 and early 2019 we are now seeking an experienced construction administrator to join our Operations Team to ensure consistent communication & delivery to all our purchasers is maintained from contract signing to handover. Ideally applicants will have experience within the residential construction industry with complete understanding of building timeframes, stages and contractual deadlines.
The Position:
- Managing a large volume of customers & undertaking related administrative work from contract to delivery - providing an end to end service on behalf of our clients
- Daily client contact (both written and verbal) in Mandarin to clients
- Coordinating all contract information as required, ensuring deadlines are adhered to on behalf of the purchaser
- Updating the CRM software system to ensure that all client information is correct
- Coordinate & process all progress payment schedules to ensure payments are made on time
- Regular finance updates and communication from clients
- Coordinating valuations, final inspections, insurances and settlements
- Weekly construction update reports prepared for Management
- Assisting the Operations Manager with pre/post sales & settlement administration duties as required
- Acting as the main contact for customers throughout the build process
- Coordinating appointments between customers and site supervisors or Project Managers (where necessary)
- Ensuring all documentation is provided in regards to permits and routine inspections and translated to the purchaser
- Liaising with internal departments & builders, on a daily basis to ensure all job information is up-to-date and correct
- Post-settlement follow-up correspondence with customers
- Mandatory Skills & Experience:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in the building industry with previous experience as a Contract Administrator or Administrator within a Property Development or Construction company
- Experienced in utilisation of Runway CRM (or similar)
- Solid understanding & experience of construction methods / implications
- Clear and thorough understanding of site related issues and the ability to explain & translate implications to purchaser
- Fluent in English & Mandarin (both written and verbal)
- Must be highly efficient, excellent time management skills and a keen eye for detail
- Advanced skills in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Collaborative personality and team work driven
