About the role
Reporting to the Construction Manager the Project Manager's role will involve:
- Managing projects in the commercial buildings and health sectors - both new build and refurbishments
- Accurate scheduling and planning of projects
- Sourcing and scheduling the delivery of materials and equipment to project sites
- Selecting and negotiating contracts and terms with subcontractors
- A high focus on the Financial control of projects
- Selection of design options / advice on design aspects of projects
- Client liaison - keeping the client updated as to progress
Skills & experience
Applicants for the Project Manager role should be able to show:
- Excellent organisational skills and sound project planning abilities
- Recent experience managing large commercial / mixed-use / health projects
- Able to accurately monitor and manage the financial aspects of projects
- Experience managing subcontractors
- A good technical knowledge of HVAC plant and equipment.
Salary & benefits
A salary in the region of $130,000 plus super - plus $15k car allowance, phone & laptop.
