JBD Group is a leading national detailing company with it's Head office working out of their new prestigious premises on the Sunshine Coast. They have an immediate requirement for additional Senior Tekla Detailers, working in it's Western Australia office, who are ready to contribute and make a valuable impact.
Please note: you must be an Australian citizen or hold an Australian work permit and work on-site from the Western Australia office.
You will mainly work autonomously to produce high quality 3D construction models and 2D drawings, including working with the latest technology in 3D laser scanning and cloud point data.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Taking project briefs
- Building 3D construction models
- Identifying RFIs and Variations
- Liaising with clients, their design teams and contractors
- Issuing and editing IFA models and drawings to company QA standards
- Daily and weekly project reporting
- Project Evaluations
- Strictly following company systems and processes
To be suitable for the position, the candidate will possess the following;
- Minimum 5 years' experience in 3D construction modelling and steel detailing including working with complex commercial projects with architectural features, raising RFIs and Variations
- Excellent time management, client liaison and interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills with fluent spoken and written English
- Familiarity with Australian Standards and Building Codes
- Proficient in Tekla and associated design techniques.
- A strong work ethic, can-do attitude and high level of integrity.
