MPA Surveying provides a full range of high-quality surveying services; engineering, mining, construction and cadastral surveying throughout Queensland.

Due to our continued growth and expansion, MPA Surveying has multiple excellent opportunities for Surveyors to join their teams in Mackay, Rockhampton, Gladstone and Brisbane on a full-time basis. These roles will involve an element of travel to meet the needs of our clients and diverse geographical reach.

About the role

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading Surveying Consultancy with a relaxed and friendly working environment. You'll have the chance to work on a diverse range of projects and play a pivotal role in the organisation's growth plans and the future direction of the business.

You will be primarily responsible for conducting field survey tasks whether engineering, mining, construction or cadastral, as well as undertaking the related office calculations and ensuring project deliverables, timeframes and budgets are met.

Some of your key duties will include (but will not be limited to):

  • Ensure project deliverables, timeframes and budgets are met. 
  • Day to day surveying and communication with clients, ensuring their requirements are met.
  • Establishing and maintaining accurate Survey Control.
  • Undertaking calculations, field pick up and data reduction.
  • Maintenance and servicing of survey equipment and vehicles.
  • Assisting with preparation of quotations as required.

Skills & experience

  • Full Australian Working Rights
  • Registered with the QLD Surveyors Board or willing to attain registration
  • 12D experience will be highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills, particularly with site personnel and Project Managers.
  • Highly proficient field and office work.
  • Ability to manage/adhere to project timelines.
  • 'Can Do' solution focused approach
