DFP Recruitment have been asked by our client to source a Construction Surveillance Officer for a major roadworks project and we are seeking an experienced civil construction supervisor to act as a Construction Surveillance Officer on a major roads project, for a 12 month role.
The successful candidate must have experience in roads, footpaths, paving and bitumen. You will have at least 4 years experience as a supervisor or Surveillance Officer in civil construction on roads/bridges, footpaths and drainage.
- Assess and record defects
- Report non compliance and safety breaches
- Liaise with contractors and sub contractors
- Traffic management ticket
- Great communication skills
- White card
- Valid C class licence
The successful candidate would be expected to:-
- liaise with contractors on a daily basis,
- Review the performance and quality of sub contractor works
- Report defects and non compliance
- Liaise with contractors construction teams to resolve issues in a timely and cost effective manner
