About the Role
As Senior Project Engineer (BULK EARTHWORKS) you will be working FIFO 2/1 ex-Perth to a WA mine site. You will assume responsibility for the management of a large package of bulk earthworks and be responsible for providing technical input to site construction activities working in close liaison with the site management team. You will provide technical guidance on construction delivery queries and leadership to junior project staff, project programming, progress monitoring and reporting, plus cost, and subcontractor management. On offer will be a terrific Base Salary + Super (+30% site uplift). This will be based on your existing level of experience.
Skills, Qualifications and Other Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
- Minimum 7+ years' of site based construction experience as PE/SPE managing large BULK EARTHWORKS scopes of work for large civil contractors in Australia
- Experience on BULK EARTHWORKS projects on mine site infrastructure or industrial developments is essential (ie. site preparation, rail formation, haul/access roads)
- Previous exposure working on FIFO basis preferred as this is a requirement in this role
- Strong communication skills and ability to lead others
- Perth based with existing rights to work in Australia (*Non negotiable)
