Salary €140 + package
Site Safety Officer required for one of Australia's largest and most successful main contractors, with operations nationwide in Australia and New Zealand. Our client is a dynamic company with a broad range of projects including commercial, retail, leisure/ hospitality, life science, healthcare, industrial and infrastructure sectors.
The successful candidate must be able to work on own initiative, be able to give instruction to site personnel and have a good working knowledge of safety legislation. You should have a minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience as Safety Officer with a contractor in the construction industry. You must be degree qualified with experience across safety management systems and standards.
This role will come under the supervision of the Corporate Safety Manager, who will be on site at times to provide guidance to the successful candidate.
Responsibilities will include carrying out safety inspections, producing risk assessment, accident/incident recording, carrying out site safety inductions, identifying training requirements.
