Construction Leading Hand- Telecommunications

Our client is looking for fit and dedicated individual to be a Leading Hand of a 4 man team and to perform assigned daily tasks in construction for assembling/erecting Wireless Telecommunication Towers directed by the Site supervisor. Site Coordination of the construction of telecommunications mobile phone sites including civil works, electrical & earthing, foundations, fencing, shelter and tower installation as directed. Performs all tasks related to construction projects, erecting steel structures or towers of varying size and design and pour concrete foundations or footings by transferring from one task to another where demands require worker with varied experience and ability to work without close supervision by performing required duties.
 
Perform general construction of tower sites to include, but not limited to: site layout, excavation, foundations, erection, installation, and maintenance/repair; operates equipment to include trucks with trailers, power tools, and non-powered tools. Satisfactorily interprets blueprints. Applies knowledge to accurately designate the correct location, grades, and placements of buildings and towers on sites. Maintains the proper operational knowledge for equipment and machinery required for all construction assignments. Consistently ensures equipment/machinery is in good working order and properly secured before use. This role requires a lot of travel around Western Australia with penalty rates and LAFA provided.
