Glascott Landscape and Civil is a landscape construction company with over 29 years' experience. Glascott Landscape and Civil offers complete construction and project management of high quality hard and soft landscapes projects in NSW, ACT, QLD and VIC. Our clients include various Local Governments, the RTA, major tier one builders and developers.

We are currently seeking a Project Manager for our ACT office. You will be reporting to the ACT Manager and be confident with dealing with key stakeholders internally and externally. Good communication and work ethic will be required to achieve results in the role.

YOU WILL REQUIRE:

  • Tertiary Education or Landscape Trade
  • Minimum 5 years of full time Project Management experience
  • Experience in a similar role, preferably with experience in working in both the private and government sectors
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills including Microsoft Project
  • The ability to multi task and have good attention to detail.
  • Excellent time, communication and management skills
  • A flexible, can-do team orientated attitude

    YOUR DUTIES:

  • Liaise with clients
  • Become familiar with all aspects of the contract prior to commencing job
  • Manage all site activities including orders to sub-contractors and suppliers
  • Prepare Project construction program prior to site establishment and update on a monthly basis.
  • Ensure the site staff adhere and document WHS procedures throughout the project
  • Maintain relationship with clients and solve client problems to ensure that both financial objectives and client needs are satisfied
  • Work through construction issues with the client and consultants
  • Manage sub-contractors contracts ensuring program deadlines are met.
  • Organise materials, as required and hire/placement of machinery and temporary staff
  • Prepare and document scope variations as required
  • Sourcing prices from suppliers and contractors  then process the letting of sub-contracts
  • Managing our trades and contractors and ensuring compliance at all times
  • Providing exceptional customer service to all customers and clients
  • Attending all site meetings and site inspections with the client and consultants
  • Provide monthly project forecasting and costs analysis to senior management
