The Company
This is a long-established, highly reputed, major commercial building contractor, which is running and developing a very successful commercial interiors division.
This city based Fit-out and refurb specialised Construction Company deals with high profile clients within the Commercial and Government sectors.
At present they are undergoing an excellent period of growth and are looking to expand the Sydney team with at least one excellent Contract Administrator on a permanent basis.
The Role
Reporting to the Contracts Manager and working closely with both the Senior Project Manager and the construction team, your role will encompass the preparation of Tender Packages through to the management of progress claims.
As a Contract Administrator you will be focussing on Commercial Fit-out and refurbishment projects up to $2m in value In this role you will:
• Prepare contract and scopes of work for residential builds.
• Variations
• Preparation of Cost Reports
• Source and compare subcontractor and supplier quotes.
• Assist with the Programming and planning of the projects
To be considered for this role you should have the following
- Degree in Construction Management or Similar
- 3 years’ experience as a Contracts Administrator
- Strong knowledge of the Commercial / Retail Fit Out Industry
- Ideally you will have experience with Cheops, Jobpac or similar
- Good communication and presentation skills both written and verbal
- Knowledge of Sydney construction market and subcontractors
