The Role
We are seeking to appoint Project Managers within our NSW/ACT Building team. You will gain exposure to a diverse project portfolio consisting of major projects $300m+ across commercial, health and defence. This is a great opportunity to work within a reputable team who are passionate in delivering projects within the time frames, cost, quality and compliance dimensions.
As the Project Manager you will be involved in the winning of projects and responsible for delivery of projects, achieving optimum production and cost outcomes by managing the day-to-day running of projects, including workforce management, in a healthy and safe work environment. This role will also undertake cost control, estimating, budgeting, forecasting, sub-contract management and commercial negotiation activities as required.
Minimum requirements for this role include:
- A proven track record with a tier 1 or 2 contractor delivering large scale building projects
- Degree qualified within Construction, Engineering or equivalent
- Senior level management experience within the construction industry
- Minimum 10-15 years relevant experience with 5 years as a Project Manager
- Manage teams across whole of project to deliver work in excess of $300M
- Commercial experience to include project planning through full project life cycle, reporting against plan and cost coupled with managing and monitoring implementation of risk
- Strong relationship building, influencing and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication and written skills
