A unique and exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and results driven Customer Care Manager to join our team based in Sydney. 

 

The Role

This role is primarily responsible for overseeing rectification work and the management of employees within this department within the Sydney region. You will also be responsible for ensuring that MJH Group WHS obligations, quality and standards are applied and maintained across this department, while also ensuring that services are conducted in accordance with company policy and procedures and Australian Building Codes, Practices and Regulations.

 

The Person

We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, time management skills and a high attention to detail. The successful candidate will have a strong ability to direct and manage all department work functions as required, while supervising and monitoring all department staff in order to facilitate effective and efficient operations within the department. It is also important that you are able to prioritise effectively, be a confident leader who has a positive attitude and the ability to build relationships and treat internal and external customers and staff with sensitivity, empathy and integrity.

 

Essential Skills:

  • Strong computer skills, including strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Minimum 5 years trade experience within the Construction Industry with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a supervisory role.
  • Ability to create and maintain a positive, strong and effective working team environment by directing and managing all team members performance appropriately as required through providing clear communication and feedback and demonstrating and encouraging integrity in all work.
  • Demonstrate proactive communication skills and innovative thinking with both employees and with clients to manage tasks and to prevent escalated issues while contributing to the provision of an exceptional customer service across the Service and Warranty department through effective planning and organisation.
  • Flexibility to travel to various MJH Group job locations to meet with customers as required while acting as an advocate for the MJH Group representing the company in the highest possible light to all employees and internal/external customers.
  • Strong analysis and problem solving skills with the ability to escalate client issues promptly as required in consultation with the Group Service and Warranty Manager and Construction and/or Project Delivery departments as necessary.
  • Current and thorough knowledge in all aspects of construction process and OHS aspects of building and construction with onsite experience within the building industry.
  • Ability to promote health and safety awareness within the Group.
  • Ability to meet project milestones, goals and objectives in a timely manner while representing and speaking for the company and its work to those outside the organization in a clear, convincing and organized manner.
  • Demonstrates a sound working knowledge of housing and the construction process while maintaining an understanding of relevant legislation, codes of practice and standards.
