Utility Mapping is an innovative company focused on reducing or eliminating risk associated with working around underground services and utilities. We provide the design phase of a project with a comprehensive range of services to accurately locate, identify and survey utilities within a site area to prevent costly and harmful utility strikes and improve the accuracy of designs prior to construction.
We are looking for a Utility Locator to join our growing Perth team. This role is a full-time position Monday - Friday, with occasional weekend, nightshift and regional work required. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of technically challenging projects ranging from clearances to major infrastructure projects and facility mapping.
To be successful applicant will need to have;
- Experience in using pipe & cable locating instruments;
- Use of ground penetrating radar (GPR) systems;
- Experience in drainage surveys;
- Ability to travel regularly for work.
The following are not mandatory, however, would be highly regarded:
- A qualification in surveying or related geospatial discipline;
- Rail Industry Worker card;
- Dial Before You Dig certification.
