The Company
This Organisation is looking for a signage estimator for commercial construction, the company is young but has the industry knowledge and backing to grow and develop at a quick rate.
Your Role
The successful candidates have a exciting opportunity to join a small but professional team with opportunities for growth. You will be an integral part of the business developing and maintaining existing relationships as the lead estimator of the organisation.
The successful candidate will need to assess and estimate cost of works during tender and contractual stages with following primary functions; evaluate scope of works, sourcing and assess subcontractor quotes, communicate with the client and work within strict deadlines, submit tender documents and contracts and communicate with the team.
To be considered for this role candidates must have relevant experience as an estimator and/or project manager
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparation and analysis of lump sum tenders, budgets, cost plans, take offs
- Estimation and quotes for retail, building and architectural projects
- Compilation of high-quality tender submissions as part of a team
- Identifying and detailing cost-specific risks and opportunities
- Developing and maintaining relationships with subcontractors and clients.
- Assist with the review and administration of subcontracts
What You'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you will need experience as an Estimator working for a Signage or Printing organisation. You will need to demonstrate excellent business acumen, excellent communication skills and working with tight deadlines are essential for this role.
