To enable our business to grow we require an experienced plant operator to join our team based on various projects around Pakenham Victoria.

Our team of some 1300 live and breathe our "CAN DO" promise to ensure we deliver first class solutions to our clients, whilst providing an engaging, safe and team-based culture for our people.

Reporting to the Project Supervisor, the role is focused on operating a range of machinery from small excavators and dozers to skid steers and rollers.

Responsibilities of the role:

  • Ensuring works are carried out safely and in accordance with processes and procedures.
  • Actively monitoring the work environment for hazards.
  • Ensuring works are carried out in the most efficient manner.
  • Actively participate and contribute to the continuous improvement and innovation of MACA work practices.       

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Experience in road construction, drainage, rock walls and pavements.
  • Guard rail and wire rope installation experience, a distinct advantage.
  • Traffic management tickets an advantage.
  • Current unconditional driver's license and white card.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug screen.
  • Ability to work autonomously or in a team.
  • Commitment to safety in the workplace.
