Ausco Modular is a market leader in the modular building industry, providing complete customer solutions through a unique capability in building hire, sale, manufacture, construction, project management and managed accommodation. Reporting to the SA/NT Operations Manager and located at our Edinburgh Park office, this role is responsible for assisting the team in performing operational duties to ensure all aspects of the Hire functions are completed accurately and in a timely manner. This role also provides supervision of Operations Technicians and subcontractors.

Key role responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Undertaking repairs, cleaning and maintenance to buildings
- Scheduling of all major refurbishments for older stock as identified through the return process
- Bidding for and project management of building customization
- Coordination of after delivery maintenance / management of service costs
- Controlling ancillary items and consumable items, including assisting with stocktakes for serialised, non-serialised & store items as required
- Ensuring the timely dispatch and inspection of buildings and materials
- Ensuring all contact with customers is professional and timely
- Team management and supervision including onboarding new starters
- Completing final checks of buildings before dispatch
- Working safely and in accordance with Ausco processes and systems
- Preparation of financial data including invoicing and bank guarantees
- Drive continuous improvement
- Coordination of after delivery maintenance / management of service costs
The successful candidate will possess the following:
- At least 5 years’ experience in a supervisory capacity within the modular building, building, construction or resource industry.
- Strong leadership and the ability to effectively communicate with and manage people, ensuring a performance culture is established which focuses on continuous improvement.
- Relevant trade qualifications and forklift experience desirable but not essential.
- A strong understanding of safety and environmental management systems with the ability to drive a strong safety culture.
- Knowledge and understanding of computers and Microsoft packages is essential.
- Great interpersonal skills and written & verbal communication skills with the use of initiative to problem solve.
