The client:

My client is a highly respected and sought after mixed commercial and apartment builder looking for an up and coming OH&S Coordinator / Labourer who is reliable, has a can-do attitude and is one that has onsite Commercial Apartment or Townhouse experience as a requirement.

The role:

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Covering daily Occupational Health and Safety requirements for a busy construction site.
• Overseeing toolbox talks/meetings, SWMS and induction processes.
• Documenting day to day safety issues and maintaining site safety records.
• Attending key stakeholder meetings to ensure safety message is spread at all times.
• Ensuring that all safety administration, safety procedures and documentation is completed.
• General labouring around the site.

What you will need to succeed:

• Current Construction Industry White Card is a MUST.
• Minimum Certificate IV Occupational Health & Safety or higher.
• First Aid Certificate (preferred).
• Labouring experience on commercial residential building sites.
• History of being reliable and committed.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to organise, prioritise and follow instructions.
• Being energetic, healthy, fit and proactive
• A Traffic ticket is advantageous but not necessary.
