Our company is a well known and highly respected civil construction company specialising in all aspects of civil construction including roads, concrete, drainage, kerb and gutter and other associated works. We have been experiencing steady growth over the last 12 months and are now looking for a Project Manager to join our close knit team.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Create project budgets from estimates
- Assist with estimating, tendering and quoting
- Preparation of monthly progress claims
- Create, implement and maintain PMP's
- Collaborate with project foreman and leading hands for daily and weekly project activities
- Planning and ordering of materials and resources for projects
- Coordination with the team for allocation of plant to sites
- Client and PCA interface
- Contract administration and EOT claims
- Preparation and maintenance of project programs
In addition to the above you will also be expected to provide accountability and leadership to the foremen and leading hands with regards to:
- Safety
- Meeting targets
- Quality control
- Project specification
Ideally you will have a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role in the civil construction arena. You will also:
- Strong subdivision experience in Western Sydney LGA's with tertiary qualifications or extensive work history as back up
- Have exposure to a broad range of projects
- Be team focused with a high level of commitment
- Have the ability to interact and lead negotiations
- Have a history of completing projects to program and budget
- Have excellent knowledge of QSE
- Have excellent communication skills
