What are we looking for?
Arcadis has been successful in securing the design of a number of major transportation projects and we are currently looking for Expression of Interest from a Construction Phase Services Manager to be part of a long-term opportunity on the Melbourne Metro project.
Responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
- Lead and build the Construction Phase Services team for the Melbourne Metro project;
- Respond, solve and liaise with contractors and the design team on any issues, challenges and queries to effectively facilitate construction;
- Lead the entire Construction Phase Services multi-disciplinary team over the duration of the project. Team include Civil, Environmental, Structural, Geotechnical, Mechanical and Electrical etc.); and
- Work closely with senior representatives in managing the budget and team.
Who are we looking for?
You will have:
- 20+ years’ relevant experience in construction and engineering projects; Tunneling and deep excavation experience beneficial;
- Experience in Construction Phase Services or similar role for either a consultant or contractor on major infrastructure projects;
- Civil/Structural engineering degree with chartered status or equivalent professional accreditation preferred;
- Sound commercial background, including familiarity with contractual conditions and procedures, and ability to take commercial responsibility for a project;
- Excellent client-focus and a sound technical know-how, and proven experience working on major Australian infrastructure projects; and
- Excellent communication and report writing skills.
