The Company
One of Australia’s most dynamic construction companies, with a successful history of completing a broad range of projects either on their own developments or for a select group of repeat clients. They are looking to engage an experienced project manager to be based in Sydney to work on a mix of commercial and residential projects with a full order book for 2018/19
The Role
This role will suit an ambitious, driven project manager who has already completed at least 2 or 3 projects over $30M in value on a variety of sectors. Ideally with about 15 years construction experience gained with a reputable building firm in the Sydney market. You should have only worked for a few companies - the fewer the better - JOB HOPPERS NEED NOT APPLY.
Requirements
- Carpentry trade background or University degree in construction
- An excellent grounding in sub-contractor management and reading detailed plans
- Through understanding of construction law and contracts.
- Strong programming skills
- Proven skills in problem solving
- Ability to lead a project team
- A passion for building challenging projects to time and to budget - problem solving is a must.
- Financial understanding of projects.
