Tasmanian Staffing Solutions are currently seeking experienced Roller Operators with civil experience to work with our client, a major Tasmanian civil construction business. Our client is fully engaged with major- infrastructure projects currently across the state and there is a lot of work available.
We currently require experienced roller operators with high levels of competency with steel drum, pad foot and multi wheel rollers for a project presently underway in the central midlands area.
Duties/responsibilities:
•Operating steel drum asphalt roller
•Operating multi-wheel rollers
•Raking and shovelling asphalt
•Ensuring all site quality procedures are being followed
The successful applicant will possess:
•Minimum 2 years’ experience (ideally with some asphalt & road surfacing experience).
•Roller VOC or relevant ticket
•A Minimum C Class drivers licence with your own transport (HR would be highly regarded)
•Success driven mentality whilst taking into consideration all accounts of safety
