Trust me - this role is with a brilliant builder reporting to a superstar Construction Manager.

They have a project in Newport starting in mid-late July that will run for 12 or so months.

The project is a 3 level build with retail shops on the bottom, and the two levels above have 8 apartments. No basement! 

As Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing the onsite team and day to day running of the project.  Your duties will include but not be limited to the following:

• Ensuring Occupational Health and Safety is adhered to on site
• Providing supervision and leadership to team members
• Regularly communicating with the PM
• Keeping to the construction program
• Liaising with other relevant stakeholders

To be considered:

The ideal candidate for this position you should be able to demonstrate:

• Recent experience in a Site Manager capacity within commercial apartment space. Retail shops would also be a bonus. 
• A keen eye for detail
• Excellent people management skills in which you can motivate team
• Great understanding of OH&S
• A real desire to achieve and deliver projects on time every time
• A stable work history
