We are seeking a full-time Project Manager - Water who is keen to hit the ground running by taking an active involvement in our projects and the development of our business in this rapidly expanding marketplace.

You will join our team based from our Adelaide office, and be working on sites/projects across Adelaide and South Australia. Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will be responsible for the professional oversight of the day to day operations of projects, including minimising time constraints and maximising profit concurrent with maintaining good relationships, Company safety standards and ensuring quality control.  

The Project Manager will be responsible for: 

  • Managing projects from award of contract through to design, construction, commissioning and operation. 
  • Ensuring Company safety and environment standards are maintained an ensure high quality control. 
  • Managing subcontractors and suppliers. 
  • Managing project personnel to meet project objectives.
  • Managing project forecast and budget to ensure financial success of the project. 
  • Maintaining good client/customer relationships, including the successful delivery of projects.

Selection criteria for this role:

  • A bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil or Environmental Engineering or related discipline. Alternatively, Certificate II/III/IV Water Operations viewed favourably.
  • 2+ years' experience working with automated process plants and water treatment plants.
  • Experience with PLC's, VSD's and SCADA/HMI systems desirable.
  • 5+ years' previous construction experience, specialising in Remediation and Environmental projects or Civil projects up to $10m in value.
  • Contract and budget management experience. 
  • Demonstrated understanding in the development and implementation of Environmental, Health, Safety and Quality management systems.
  • Understanding of the requirements of working with hazardous materials. 
  • Demonstrated practical on-site experience. 
  • Demonstrated stakeholder management skills with the ability to develop relationships with team members, clients and contractors to ensure excellence in project delivery.
  • High level organisational skills, computer literacy and excellent written / verbal communication. 
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office & Project. 
  • Flexibility to work site hours and valid driver's licence.
