Trainee Scheduler- Reinforcing
Working with Australia's leading manufacturer and supplier of reinforcing steel to major projects across Australia, the Trainee schedulers role is a progressive, dynamic and rewarding role that can fast track tech savvy cadets to a long and rewarding career path.
Key Responsibilities Include;
- Scheduling and detailing- Interpret technical drawings to develop bar bending/cutting lists for manufacturing, baseline technical support to customers, job database management.
- Customer Service- Site visits, internal project management, working within a small team of cadets to ensure product if delivered on time, issue resolution.
- Negotiation- Refer claims and dispute to relevant team members, ensure DIFOT is met for all clients.
- Safety- drive safety first workplace culture.
Technical Skills required;
- Basic knowledge of design/build and manufacturing.
- Ability to read technical drawings.
- Basic CAD skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
Desired Experience and qualifications;
- Engineering qualification- Civil or Manufactoring.
- 6-18 months experience in similar role.
