Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced permanent full time Engineer to join the Water Services Group, based in Calliope.
This position lays the foundation for the successful delivery of Council’s program of works, by planning medium to long term works in consultation with Strategic Asset Performance Business Unit. Planning people and physical resources at the right time to deliver the right outcome to support construction and maintenance operations.
About you
- Demonstrated experience working in a similar role with comprehensive job specific knowledge and specialised skills developing effective work management plans.
- Extensive experience and demonstrated skill in investigating alternate approaches and recommending solutions for unique and/or complex problems affecting work control and planning.
- Proven experience in conceptualizing and communicating (verbal and written) major elements of work planning to technical and non-technical personnel.
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite and operating corporate business systems.
- Legally able to drive a motor vehicle in Queensland.
