The Genesis Facility located at Eastern Creek is part of Dial A Dump Industries' Construction and Demolition Waste Materials Landfill and Recycling Division.
We are currently seeking an experienced crushing and screening Supervisor to join the growing team. The role is based at Eastern Creek working in our crushing and screening area. We are offering a full time position for the right candidate.
To be considered for the role applicants must have:
- Relevant tickets matching skills on excavator and loader (work cover tickets no longer valid);
- High level of experience (especially excavator & loader);
- Own reliable transport;
- Current drivers licence; and
- Willing to travel to and from different job sites.
The position reports to the Crushing and Screening Manager.
Main duties include:
- Operating and maintaining mobile crushing and screening plant;
- Ensuring production and maintenance activities achieve maximum effective use of the plant and equipment;
- Identifying and act on ways of improving output or efficiency of the plant and equipment;
- Operating mobile equipment including loader and excavators as well as operating electrical and associated hand tools;
- Working in a safe and productive manor at all times;
- Abiding by all the company’s requirements regarding safety and environmental commitments;
- Operating excavator to feed crushing plants, rock breaking and pulverising;
- Operating front end-loader to load trucks and feed screening plants.
- You will be responsible for the upkeep of equipment, making sure that correct maintenance schedules are followed and machinery is being operated as it should be.
A valid driver's licence, relevant plant operator tickets and the ability to pass a pre-employment medical check including a drug and alcohol test are minimum requirements.
