Contract Administrator job, inner city suburbs, Health, Retail, Commercial fitout & Refurbishments to $15m
My client is an award winning fit out and refurbishment specialist, renowned for delivering high quality projects across the commercial and retail and health sector. With a culture known by many, they are now looking to expend their current team set up due to the sustained growth of the business. With a variety of projects typically ranging from $1m-$15m, you will not only work with well-respected subbies, but also well-respected colleagues.
In your new role you will be required to:
- Review tender prices and compilation of all tender comparisons for review by the Project Team (i.e. comparison against budget and other s/c prices).
- Compile, complete and issue all associated subcontract documentation
- Manage monthly progress claims and variations throughout the duration of the project taking into consideration all associated financial and contractual obligations.
- Cash flow forecasting
- Maintain cost control, identifying areas of risk and opportunity.
- Work closely with the project team to ensure issues are resolved quickly and without any implications towards key project milestones.
- Educate and develop less senior members of the team
To be successful in this role you will:
- Be a team player and have a passion for construction
- Have solutions rather than problems
- Possess a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience as a Contracts Administrator
- Be self-motivated and add value to a vibrant culture
- Have a proven record of working well within a team on multiple projects at a given time
- Hold a tertiary qualification in a construction related field or have a trades background
