Due to business growth and recent successful tenders, Interior Works is looking for an experienced Contract Administrator to join the growing team in Sydney.

The ideal candidate would have experience in commercial fit out. 

We are seeking an energetic, motivated and results driven person to join the established and growing team.

The position:

The position is to assist with the administration of our projects, directly assisting the Project Managers.

These duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Co-ordinate with the construction team the running of a project and to perform all site administration functions
  • Negotiate supply & subcontract prices and let all contracts and orders on time within budgets as per the target programes and procurement of works with the construction team
  • Manage all costs associated with site projects, including processing claims, invoices and variations and prepare monthly cost reports.
  • Produce, issue and monitor progress claims to clients
  • Work within company WHS guidelines.
  • Together with the Project Manager, co-ordinate review and monitor activities and work of sub-contractors.
  • Maintain and manage files and documents
  • Attend meetings as required
  • Produce estimates/measure quantities
  • Ensuring that where appropriate project specific inspection and test plans and the associated checklists are prepared and completed.
  • Producing ITP's & Safety documents
  • Producing site programes
  • Track project milestones and deliverables.
  • Eventually co-ordinate projects and all trades on various projects concurrently

  • Advanced computer skills, MS Projects are required and experience working with Jobpac would be beneficial.
  • Ability to work without supervision, yet be an integral part of the team and therefore work with others when the need arises.
