The Company:
 
Trump Floorcoverings was established in 1992 and has since established itself as one of Australia's largest commercial floorcovering experts. We specialise in carpet, carpet tiles, vinyl sheeting, vinyl tiles, wall sheeting, rubber, floating floors and epoxy, as well as floor levelling, general preparation and floor demolition.

The Role:
 
We are currently seeking a driven and motivated individual to join our Wetherill Park team in the position of Project Supervisor.
 
The main focus of this diverse role will be to engage, coordinate and manage trades during the installation process on commercial floorcoverings projects. You will be responsible for providing regular updates to clients, building strong relationships and ensuring a high level of service is provided at all times. You will ensure projects are installed to budget and a level of financial reporting is required (training will be provided)

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Procure, engage, coordinate & manage trades
• Communicate & negotiate with trades to track the progress of jobs
• Coordinate access to properties
• Dispute/issue resolution as required
• Ensure all work conforms to legislative & contractual OHS requirements
• Ensure all inspections, certificates & relevant documentation are signed off
• Quality control throughout the course of the works
• Ensure project are delivered to time & cost budgets
• Travel around the Sydney metro area

Key Selection Criteria:

• Previous experience supervising projects preferably within Construction / Refurbishment environment.
• Flooring Installation or Building trade qualification, highly regarded
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
• Confident & professional phone manner
• Strong organisational & dispute resolution skills
• Ability to manage a varied & demanding workload
• An honest nature & the ability to learn from mistakes
• Strong computer skills
• Current Australian drivers licence
