Some of the key duties you will need to perform include:
- Ensuring all agreed sales & profit growth targets are achieved
- Managing customer expectations by delivering on sales commitments in a timely fashion while adhering to our high quality & safety standards
- Accurately purchase materials to match engineering drawings
- Recruit appropriate personnel to compliment your team if required
- Appreciate autonomy to enable your strong organizational skills to shine
- Embrace pressure while you maintain solution orientated and motivated
In order to be successful in this position your skill set will include:
- Having a high level of knowledge in construction
- Experience in the build process & the steel industry
- An understanding of Steel Fabrication terminology
- Proven ability in developing relationships to achieve B2C targets
- Excellent project management skills
- Highly effective communication & people skills
- Desire for a variety of work to enhance your flexibility
- Proving your ability to close sales and focus on results
- Displaying your ability to thrive in a friendly work environment
The role:
Reporting to and with the full support of the Director, as the Operations Manager you will drive the direction of the business & coordinate the ongoing projects. Your targets will be focused on developing new business & successfully fulfilling the needs of our current clients.
Based at our Hastings Display Centre, you will take responsibility for the success of delivering on our promise and managing client’s expectations.
The opportunity offers an attractive Salary, Super + Incentive.
