About the Role

Due to ongoing growth, we would like to speak with experienced Estimators (single and double storey dwellings), who may be considering the next phase of their career.  We would value the opportunity to learn about your experience within the residential construction industry that will enable your successful participation in a range of multi-faceted projects.

Duties and responsibilities may include the following:

• Interpret contracts, building schedules and plans
• Generate a comprehensive and accurate bill of quantities to minimise budget overruns and the need to correct errors
• Consult with site managers, suppliers, designers and management
• Investigate invoices that exceed the cost centre budget
• Ensure all systems, manuals and information are reviewed and improved
• Manage and maintain the price books for specific business areas to ensure they remain up to date at all times
• Develop product rates (including both labour and materials costs) for existing and new products
• Provide guidance to Sales Consultants regarding credit and upgrade items
• Provide assistance and support in the development of pricing models within existing and/or new systems

Keys to Success

Along with your prior experience in working within the residential building industry, to be successful in a role at Scott Salisbury Group, you will be an excellent communicator with the highest level of presentation, organisation and time management skills.  You will have a keen eye for detail and be a highly motivated individual who is reliable team player.
