Your new company
This commercial builder are growing at a rapid rate, securing a mix of government and private sector work across the Sydney and Newcastle markets. With a local presence in Newcastle already, they are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join this team and assist them in delivering $20M worth of projects here in the Hunter.
The individual this business is seeking must have a desire to move into a Regional Manager role in the coming years where they will also manage a team of construction professionals, work closely with clients at all stages of the project and assist in the growth of the business through active networking and business development.
Your new role
Reporting to the Project Director, you will be responsible for:
- Management of the project teams (CA, SM and Foreman)
- Design management and budget development
- Procurement and contracts management
- Cost control
- All project reporting
- Communicating with stakeholders across the project
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience in a Project Manager role within the commercial building sector
- Construction management degree or equivalent experience in the construction sector
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- The desire to move into a regional manager position
