Our client is an Australian owned specialist claims and advisory business operating in the National and International Property, Construction and Engineering markets.
Their specialist claims team are looking for a Senior Commercial Manager/Claims Manager with significant contracting experience in the civil infrastructure and engineering space.
The Role
This role will be engaged as the lead commercial and claims manager on a major Sydney Infrastructure project, representing one of the JV partners. Managing both upstream and downstream commercial and claims issues, complex stakeholder relationships and a challenging completion date. The role will also be actively engaged with the Sydney based H/O team developing relationships, advising on other live projects and winning work.
The Person
The right person for this role will have managed major claims in a hard dollar and/or PPP contracting environment. They will be degree qualified and chartered, preferably RICS or equivalent. They will have experience in developing and executing a claims strategy as well as writing detailed claims. They will also have experience of managing small teams in a claims environment and ideally know how to utilise and work with a forensic planner.
